Who we are

Education shaped
around the individual

Creative, flexible, holistic and trauma-informed support for young people with a variety of learning needs.

Our purpose

Raising the standard
of educational support

At Lets Kick It, we aim to raise the standard of educational support offered to young people in the UK.

We work with local authorities to offer programmes for individuals with a variety of learning needs. Our creative, flexible, holistic and trauma-informed approach helps raise engagement and improve young people's educational and work-based journeys.

Who we support

An alternative to mainstream schools and college

Our bespoke programmes offer young people aged 12 to 24 with an EHC plan an alternative to mainstream schools and college. Our specialist tutors and coaches provide holistic tuition for young people with additional needs who are out of school or between placements.

Programmes are delivered one-to-one or in small groups. Support can take place in the learner's own home and in the community, as well as through our designated learner centres.

Our team supports learners with SEN, ADHD, ASD, dyslexia, emotional support needs, anxiety, mental health needs and physical disabilities. We aim to create a positive, encouraging and safe environment for learning.

How we work

A relationship-led approach

We put relationship building, interest-led learning and social, emotional and academic development at the forefront of our work. We understand the importance of a trusting professional relationship in helping young people flourish and prepare for adulthood.

We match staff to students through skill, experience and interests. Our supportive staff are trained to understand the challenges our students face and give each learner individual attention and care.

Our team liaises with schools, local authorities and other professionals to support re-engagement with a more formal education environment or progression towards a career pathway.

Our leadership

Experienced in alternative provision

Our Course Director, Daniel Smith, has significant experience in the sector and in developing learning programmes, including the foundation and creation of successful alternative provision providers in Cambridge and Milton Keynes.
